How to Fight Pimples Based on my Experience, Papaya Soap
By borge_009
Five years ago, I used to have a reddish and rough skin. Like most of the teenagers, pimples or not having a fair skin is my problem. To tell you, having pimples really loses my confidence. Not unless if it’s night time, pimples would seem to look like blush on. There’s a point in my life that I was so desperate ,tried to prick all my pimples and the worst of all- cover my face through my bangs
I have tried so many products and all of them did not work out. I haven’t consulted a dermatologist since it’s so impractical on my part. When I got home to my province, my mother looked shocked when she saw my face. And she told me to use papaya soap, and stop using other kinds of beauty products. I tried the papaya soap and it really worked! Now, I still have pimple/s but it’s not as many compared before. My face is no longer rough and reddish.
Here are the few things that I would like to share with you to those people who are experiencing the same problem:
- Do use a single beauty product, whether it’s a facial foam or soap. I recommend you to use papaya soap or carrot soap.
- Use mild soap or facial foam.
- For girls, tie your hair. Hair may cause irritation.
Do not forget to change your towel, bed sheet, pillowcases
- Eat nutritious foods.

I can't disagree with much of this. I was almost half expecting some wild remedy. :) When I was younger I had very bad cystic acne. I took tetracycline, minocycline, doxicycline, I used topicals like Retin-A, Cleocin-T, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, tried scrubbers, Oxy, and even Clearskin Avon products.
I eventually stopped using soap entirely on my face. I also began a regular, daily vitamin regiment of a multi-vitamin, 1,000 mg. vit-C, 400 i.u. vit-E, 2,000 i.u. vit-D, and I take a B-Complex. I change my pillowcase often, always use a clean wash rag, never touch my hands to my face, and the result has been acne free with the occassional pimple here and there, but nothing even closely resembling the terrible acne I had.
I know it sounds like I'm party to an urban myth, but I really do believe that all of the products I tried only made things worse. In my case. At least that was my experience.
I enjoyed the hub.
